The
Syracuse Chorale is again pleased to offer the "Voices of Tomorrow"
Scholarship, for a high school senior with an anticipated graduation date of June
2008. The scholarship is open to
those who are interested in continuing choral singing after high school.
Organized
for over fifty years, the Syracuse Chorale is the oldest community choir in the
Greater Syracuse area with membership of 85-100 community residents. We perform a variety of works of
classical and contemporary composers in concert and cabaret formats. Membership is open to all individuals
who have completed their sophomore year of high school.
Students
should complete the accompanying application and provide the required
documentation:
Acceptance letter into an accredited 2,3, or 4 year college program
One recommendation from music teacher, choral
conductor, or voice instructor
The
deadline for the application is May 25, 2008.
